Dances of Universal Peace is sacred chanting body prayer. Those four simple words can barely contain the vast continuum of transformational expression between sublime compassion and abounding joy. Simply put, the Dances are something to be tried and experienced to see what they may offer you.
In late 1960's San Francisco, Samuel L. Lewis was inspired to chant sacred phrases with simple circle folk dance movements. This would develop into the Dances of Universal Peace, a participatory art form and spiritual practice honoring all sacred religious traditions. Thousands internationally join in the song and dance today.
Won't you join us?
All you need to bring is an open heart.
