Summer Dog Days: ARF! ARF!

Just raising the signal on a project I will be a part of this summer, Arts Responding to Foreclosure (ARF!)
--
We're having an open community gathering and info session on Thursday evening, April 12, at Frogtown Square!  Join us!

Come join us as we gather for food, fun, entertainment, and information. We will roll out our new project, Arts Responding to Foreclosure, a 3-part workshop series using three art disciplines (spoken word, singing, and photography) to bring the stories connected to foreclosure out of the darkness and into the light.  We are seeking workshop participants who are willing to share their story and the story of others.  Each participant will receive a $300 stipend at the end of the workshop performance show.

Time:  Thursday, April 12, 2012, 6-9 p.m.
Location:  Frogtown Square, 500 Dale Street North, St. Paul, MN  55103

This is a free event.  Please RSVP to Sheronda at 651-261-9317.

If you or someone you know has been affected by the foreclosure crisis, this meeting is for you!  Although we are giving workshop preference to folks who live or work in the Frogtown-Rondo neighborhood, this is an open meeting for all interested folks.  Join us!

This activity is funded, in part, by the Minnesota State Arts Board through the arts and cultural heritage fund as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the Legacy Amendment vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008.
